    Answer: I have gold iridium, and it's too dark to use at night. I ended up buying the amber gradient shield as well, which has pretty good visibility at night.

    Answer: Be careful.
  • Question: What does it mean by 'with black tab'?

    Answer: There is a little leather tab with a magnet at the bottom of the sheild. This is what you use to open and close it. It is black. Some are brown.
  • Question: Is this too dark for night time use?

    Answer: Yes it is. I always have my stock one with me so if it gets dark I change the shields.
  • Question: Does this visor come with a black tab?

    Answer: They come in either black or brown. If it says '-Black' it comes with the black tab, otherwise with the brown.
  • Question: Does this shield come with the tab?

    Answer: Yes, you have to choose the color of tab you want. Brown or Black are the options.
  • Question: How do you clean this visor successfully? The inside is sticky & difficult to wipe.

    Answer: Windex has ammonia and can damage tints. I always use lemon Pledge for a streak-free, fog-free experience. Also, do not use paper towels or anything abrasive, use a microfiber cloth or 100% cotton baby diaper type cloth - lint-free.
  • Question: Do these face shields have UV protection?

    Answer: Yes, they do. I think they're also polarized because I tried wearing sunglasses with the shield and the two tints were conflicting with each other.

    Answer: That’s chromed!

    Answer: The gold iridium comes with a brown tab.

This face shield is a great addition to the Bullitt helmet, making it look stylish and modern. The gold iridium shield is not recommended for night time but can be easily changed due to its magnetic black tab. The shield does have UV protection but should be cleaned with a lint-free cloth and not Windex. Some customers had issues with scuff marks and scratches on the shield, but overall the optical clarity is great. The shield can fog up a bit but can be lifted for a second to clear it up. Some customers did receive a wrong colour tab but it did not affect the product function. The shield's bubble design can cause some swing at higher speeds. A full amber visor was requested by one customer. The shield received positive reviews with its stylish appearance, sun shielding and clear view.
