However, it cannot take a picture of a 100mm Petri dish as it has a limited focal range of 1mm-15mm. The camera supports HDMI output and English support. The power supply voltage is 12V DC 1A. One customer reported an after-image on their display after a few hours of use due to the HDMI deliberately flickering UI text/lines/boxes. Another user had issues with dead pixels appearing after plugging the camera into an external monitor via HDMI. Some users had issues with the quality of the lens, which locked up or was of poor quality. The HAYEAR 14MP microscope camera kit produces good images despite being intermittent and having occasional reboot requirements. While the camera works correctly, it has some limitations such as not being connectable to H264 prorecorder through HDMI.
