Some customers received the newer USB-C model despite the listing stating it was a USB 3.0 Micro-B, which some customers were pleased with. The OEM USB-C braided cable is well-designed, and the adapter has an impressive range and hardware capabilities. However, some users hoped for a Linux driver for this product, and others requested a tutorial on how to use it in Wi-Fi sniffing. The adapter's connection can be temperamental, and it can struggle with low temperatures. The device is on the expensive side, but it offers fast surfing speeds even with older routers. It works well on Windows, but Linux users will have a harder time installing the drivers. Customers who used ParrotSec OS found that the MAC address randomly changed each time they plugged it in, but this did not happen on Windows 10. Customers purchased multiple adapters for their networks but were disappointed with the security; they would like to see a higher level of encryption.
