The knee scooter is a great assistive device for anyone who needs to be non-weight bearing on their foot after surgery or injury. According to reviews, this knee roller is sturdy, well-made, and easy to assemble. Its basket is very handy for carrying things around, and hand brakes work very well. The wheels make the ride smoother than a hard rubber tire, and it can be used almost anywhere, including hardwood floors, concrete, asphalt, and hair-thin carpet. The scooter comes with a cushioned, non-slip rubber on the handlebars, and its seat adjusts in height. The seat is cushioned, but it needs a cushioned pad that goes over top of the seat to make it very soft. The brake lock on the brake grip works well, and it has an easy-to-use brake lock with each brake grip. The tie rods are excellent, and they have a "stopper" on the front axle assembly to prevent the scooter from overturning or tipping. The scooter is better on flat smooth surfaces, hard on the thigh of the injured leg and back, and not good on rough surfaces. Turning, especially in tight spaces, is an issue that requires 12-point-turn-like movement.
