However, it may not be suitable for some applications like grinding malt for beer or grinding wheat for baking bread. The hopper for this grinder can hold 3 to 4 cups of corn, and the grinder can be set between very coarse and fine for different grains. Although one customer used this to grind sunflower seeds for quail and found it perfect, it was noted that the build quality and tolerances were not great and produced metal shavings amidst the cornmeal. Overall, some customers struggled to operate the grinder and reported coarse output.
