Echo Auto (1st gen) - Hands-free Alexa in your car with your phone
The Echo Auto is a device that allows you to use Alexa in your car, as long as you have a Bluetooth enabled smartphone with the Alexa app. It cannot use stored files on phones and must stream everything. It is unclear whether it supports Kindle but it can read Audible books. It connects to vehicles via Bluetooth and does not have wireless charging. It includes an aux cable for use if needed. It works with any vehicle as long as Bluetooth is enabled. It does not have a lithium battery, and is powered via the car's USB port. Most customers found it easy to connect to their cars, but there were also customers experiencing issues such as it not connecting to Bluetooth, not responding to voice commands, and in one case the device broke. Overall, it seems to be a good device for people who like using Alexa in their car as it automatically connects and responds like an Echo device.
