This Kombucha Starter Kit comes with a live scoby, enough starter tea, and instructions for making your own kombucha at home. The kit is fairly easy to use, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The scoby takes about 2-3 weeks to ferment, depending on the temperature of the room. After the first fermentation, the kombucha can be bottled and flavored for a second fermentation period. The product comes with a pH test strip to help you determine when it's ready. Most customers had good experiences with this product and their kombucha turned out great. Some customers received the product without enough starter tea, which can compromise the fermentation process. One user had mold grow instead of kombucha, but most reported success with making their own kombucha.
