The TEMCO AP-10 Industrial Parts Washer Detergent Concentrate comes in a 10-pound size and is specially formulated to be used in heated parts washers. The product should be dissolved in hot water prior to adding it to the parts washer, and the recommended ratio is 1.5 pounds of soap per 2 gallons of water. While some customers have reported that the product is not effective at cutting grease or removing oil film, others have had success using it on dirty automotive parts without causing flash corrosion on steel parts. One customer reported using the product as an additive in their wash to help remove heavy grease from clothing, but the manufacturer does not recommend this as the product can be irritating to the skin.
