The Sony RDPT50IPN Lightning iPad/iPhone/iPod Portable Speaker Dock is a compact and portable audio system designed to work with iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 8+ and later versions as well as the iPad with a Lightning connector. The dock comes with a D-Saplli app that functions as a clock with customization features such as sound EQ, alarm, music player timer, sleep timer, volume, fast forward, brightness, etc. It also has a 40 Watt output and does not have Bluetooth connectivity. The system works better with slim cases as larger cases may require the removal of the device from the case for proper connection. The rechargeable battery may not function properly over time, but if the AC input power adapter is okay, the worst-case scenario would be to keep it plugged in to use.
