The NESDR SMArt Premium USB RTL-SDR is a highly recommended device for any SDR enthusiast or beginner. The device is easy to set up and works seamlessly with most of the SDR software available, and with most allowing multiple tuners. The tuning is accurate and sensitive, and the adjustable gain and modulation features work well with CubicSDR software. The device is compatible with almost all radio transmissions, from police radio and weather radio to wireless microphones and shortwave broadcasts. The aluminum housing adds durability to the overall build, making it a robust device. The only issue with the NESDR SMArt is that, as per some customer feedback, it gives off a fair amount of heat that might cause some concern if left to run for long periods.
