Answer: I haven't done a true Ph test after I use it but I havent had to use an aftershave balm after I use it. I just put on my regular serum and moisturizer after. -

Answer: Witch hazel has no alcohol. Sometimes companies that make witch hazel-based products add alcohol to the product, but witch hazel itself is just a plant, specifically a shrub known as Hamamelis virginiana. -

Answer: No it’s like a face toner consistency. Liquid like water but the best aftershave used! -

hmm, so the main ingredient is water? wow, guess that is a great moisturizer?
Answer: The main ingredient in most after shaves is alcohol or water. What makes this one good is the Witch Hazel in it. I have been using this on and off for years and find it tightens the pores and tones my face after a shave. I also find using just straight Witch Hazel as an after shave is a great alternative as well.
