Answer: The DWS1000 will not remove Nitrates. But he Aquapure APRO5500 will remove nitrates from the water.I hope this helps. Thank you. -

anyone measure the total dissolved solids (tds) output with a tds meter?
Answer: Our tds is 126. I think it started at 140. -

Answer: Yep, and there is no comment on the presence or absence of BPA. Something more to think about: most city water towers are made of steel and lined with plastic.... -

Answer: The AP – DWS 1000 system comes with the Fossett whereas the AP – DWS 1000 LF is less the Fossett. -

The 3M Aqua-Pure Under Sink Dedicated Faucet Water Filter System AP-DWS1000LF is a highly rated product. The filter system does not remove nitrates, but will remove chloromine. It is easy to maintain and easy to change filters. The installation seems to be difficult as it requires additional fittings and/or valves, and the installation manual cannot be followed as the parts are different. The product has been highly praised for its water taste and quality. The flow rate of water is great, but the water flow is noticeably slower than with some previous filter systems. The product has received some criticisms for its low quality faucet which has leaked.
