LinuxFreak Operating Systems Editorial Review
The Lubuntu Linux 14.04 CD is a great option for those with older computers or computers with limited resources. It is easy to install, with the CD being inserted and the user following the instructions to complete the installation. It is important to note that the non-PAE version of the operating system was phased out at version 12.04, so this may not work for some older systems. One customer suggested that it may take some getting used to for those who are familiar with Windows and Ubuntu, but overall, the experience is good. The default browser that comes with the Lubuntu Linux 14.04 CD is Firefox, but it is possible to install chromium or chrome if desired. Overall, this product is a reliable option for those with older systems or limited resources who are looking for an alternative to Windows.
