The machine itself feels sturdy, smooth, and has a commercial quality feel to it, which would support someone with a maximum inseam of 37 inches, and can hold up to 300 pounds as it is rock solid. The machine comes in only one box that weighs around 105 pounds, is easy to assemble as it is in two primary parts and can be stored upright when not in use. It has a holder for a phone or tablet to watch while rowing, a comfortable gliding seat that is perfect for big butts, and an excellent rowing handle. The frame requires four gallons of water, and you can decide how difficult the rowing is based on how hard you pull as the resistance level depends solely on the individual's exertion. Though the digital display may not be very readable, it is not necessary for the machine's operation, and you can decide how long you want to row. It is worthy of note that the calories reading on the digital monitor is arbitrary and not accurate, and the foot straps are prone to wear or tearing before the 180-day parts warranty runs out, though customer service is excellent, even if you are not a do-it-yourselfer. The unit is also a bit noisy, but if you use noise-canceling headphones, it can erase virtually all the noise the machine makes.
