Jack Richeson Medium Density Untempered Hardboard is a pack of 12 9x12 masonite panels which are perfect for art projects. The panels are very sturdy and come at an excellent value. Users have reported using them for acrylics, watercolours and oils painting, and they hold up pretty well. Some artists have gessoed the boards, while others have glued Senso linen to them. The surface is smooth and easy to paint on, and it seems like they should hold up for the long term. The only downside reported is that the product is packaged in a plastic bag rather than a box, and as a result, some corners of the boards have been damaged. Nevertheless, overall, the quality of this product is great, and it is perfect for small oil paint studies.
