The maximum amount of pills that will fit in the unit is 15, which would last two weeks if taken twice daily. Customers appreciated the quality of the dispenser, sturdiness, and ability to lock the pills in place even when turned over. However, there were some customers who had negative experiences with the dispenser; one customer mentioned the first dispenser lasted only eight months before dying, and the replacement unit also died after six months, leaving them with a $160 loss. The app for the dispenser is very basic and does not send push notifications of missed medication, instead, one needs to look into the app to verify that it was taken. The device has to be plugged in all the time, although the batteries are there to ensure it does not lose its memory.
