- The DIXON - J3F3 is a quick-connect hose coupling that enables tool-free hose connection and disconnection of hoses or pipes. It serves as the male plug component in a quick-connect system incorporating a sleeve locking mechanism. Constructed from steel with a zinc-plated finish and featuring nitrile seals, this coupling is intended to form a sealed connection when installed with compatible fittings and under the specified pressure and temperature ranges. It accommodates a hose fitting size of 3/8 inch with a 3/8-18 NPT female threaded connection and is compatible with Automotive Style fittings under the Tru-Flate-Automotive interchange standard. It is intended for pneumatic, hydraulic, and fluid transfer applications using compatible hoses and fittings, where quick hose connection changes are needed. Key Features: - Coupling Size: 3/8 in nominal diameter. - Has a maximum rated volumetric flow of 1,642.37 liters per minute when used within specified conditions. - Rated for operation within -40°F to 250°F. - Overall length of 1.75 inches. - Maximum outside diameter of 1 inch. - Seal material: Nitrile. - Connection type: 3/8-18 female NPT thread. - Body color: Silver with zinc-plated coating. - Hose fitting gender: Female. - Does not include an integrated valve.
