The Ampeak Car Battery Charger is a 6V12V 0.8A5A Auto Trickle Charger Maintainer with Winter Mode, Pulse Maintenance and an LCD Display. It is ETL certified, and equipped with multi-protection. It has battery clips for connections and it suits all 12V lead-acid automobile batteries. However, the charger cannot be used for frozen or totally drained batteries and it is not suitable for lithium batteries. Selecting the "Snow Symbol" will allow for float charging over the winter. The trickle charging process is loop based charging where the charger awakes and trickle charges the battery to 14.4V, then pulse charges (0.1A) to 100% full again. The Pros are that the charger is easy to use, comes with multi-protection, is weather-resistant, and works well. The Cons are that the clamps are not copper, it is not suitable for lithium batteries, cannot be left on for long periods of time, and it does not come with quick-connect Ring Terminals.
