The tomtoc Carrying Case for Steam Deck Console & Accessories is a great solution for transporting your Steam Deck and accessories. It is a lightweight bag with enough room for the Steam Deck, charger, external batteries, charging cables, AirPods, and other small items. The unique W-shaped structure with a thick bumper inside protects the Steam Deck screen and joysticks from scratches and pressure. The bag has a good quality build with premium materials and zippers that work well. The cross-body strap is comfortable to wear, and while the padding is a bit minimal, it's still adequate enough if you don't overload the bag. However, there are some design issues that could be improved. The lack of a proper carrying handle and the location of the hand strap make it difficult to comfortably carry the bag. The snug fit and curved design of the bag make it harder than it should be to remove the Steam Deck without snagging the sticks or triggers on the zipper or interior of the bag. The divider could have been designed better to allow for less wasted space inside the already small bag. Overall, this carrying case is a great upgrade to the original case that comes with the Steam Deck. It protects just as well, if not better, and leaves more room for accessories.
