Answer: I use Vandoren Java Green unfilled 2.5 to 3 reeds. The style of music you play may determine the reed. You may want to try the Vandoren Sampler reed pack that has 4 different Vandoren reeds. I would use the reeds you have first. You may already have a reed that works well. It is generally a very "reed friendly" mouthpiece. -

What ligatures (preferably cheap) would fit well on this mouthpiece?
Answer: Rovner L-2RBL (aka: L-7.5). It is made for slim hard rubber bari sax mouthpieces (e.g.: Berg Larsen and V16) and works very well with the Vandoren V16. -
