The legs snap into place and do not need screws to mount them to the TV, but according to customer reviews, the vertical shafts were often too short to fit the screw holes in the back of the TV. Some customers reported that this product didn't fit their LG, Samsung or Vizio TV's despite the manufacturer's claim that it was compatible.
