Databases Editorial Review
**** The "Database Systems: The Complete Book, 2nd Edition" in its Kindle format has garnered a mix of accolades and critiques among its users. Many readers have praised the book for its comprehensive coverage of database management systems. It is particularly favored by those who are familiar with technical or academic literature, as the book is dense enough to maintain academic rigor without overwhelming the reader with excessive detail. Users have highlighted that it serves as an effective educational resource, with one user noting that they achieved an outstanding grade in their class primarily due to the book’s thoroughness. However, there is a noticeable bifurcation in user experiences; while some find the material engaging and enjoyable to read, others perceive it as cumbersome, preferring it as a reference rather than a cover-to-cover read. This distinction underscores the book's suitability for those with a keen interest in database systems and prior familiarity with the subject matter, but potentially less so for complete novices. Additionally, the second part of the book, which delves into database implementation, has been specifically noted for its depth and effectiveness. Nonetheless, even with its strong content, readers have voiced dissatisfaction with the quality of presentation, specifically emphasizing the need for better graphics and visuals to enhance the learning experience. Overall, while the textual content receives high marks, the aesthetic presentation leaves room for improvement, which has influenced users' ratings. **
