The Cutech 40180HCB 8-Inch Spiral Cutterhead Benchtop Jointer has 16 tungsten carbide inserts and Teflon coated extendable tables, making it one of the most efficient jointers. The table is made of Teflon coated aluminum and dimensions are 38-3/4” L x 17-1/4” W x 12-3/4” H with a volume of 7.5 - 8 cubic feet. The height from the bottom of the base is 8 3/8". The cutter inserts are 14.25mm x 14.25mm x 2mm and OEM inserts and repair parts are only available on the official Cutech website. Boards have to sit on the infeed table entirely on their own before jointing. Additional support is required for longer boards. One downside is that a speed control cannot be added to this unit.
