The Sangean MMR-99 is a multi-powered digital tuning emergency radio that supports AM,FM, weather alert, and Bluetooth. It is designed with a Bluetooth receiver that allows it to receive Bluetooth signals from other devices and a built-in lithium-ion battery that can play for approximately 24 hours when fully charged. In terms of performance, the AM/FM radio feature performs well and the weather alert feature has excellent sensitivity. The controls and buttons have a solid detent feel and are easy to operate. However, one con is that the top-mounted solar panel produces a loud squeal in the audio output. The volume dial goes up to 20, but above 15, it sounds really distorted while at 15, it's simply not loud enough. Overall, customers are happy with this purchase and the radio's worth the high price.
