Answer: Depending on the monitor, I don’t think this arm would raise it high enough to be able to stand and work, unless you could attach it to a higher platform other than the desk. I will say, I like these monitor arms, they are sturdy, once you get them situated they are fairly easy to raise and lower.

The monitor arm is solid, and the convenience of the USB ports is undoubtedly a plus. When you've properly secured the spring and VESA joint, the arm is very stable. However, there are downsides to this product - each USB port requires its USB male connector, which takes up two USB ports on the device. Additionally, the VESA mounting plate is attached to the VESA plate, making it necessary to mount the monitor horizontally or install the desk clamp with the monitor already hooked up. To keep the angle of your monitor stable, you'll need to secure the VESA angle screw tightly. Customers found the installation of the arms to be simple, and the product to be very robust in handling the weight of various sizes of monitors. The sturdiness is praised, with only a few complaints. One customer found that one monitor arm wouldn't stay tightened, while another wished it would raise their monitor higher. Overall, the Single Computer Monitor Arm Mount with 2 USB Ports appears to be a great buy, but with some minor inconveniences.
