I'm not an electrician, I was going to use it to replace a 120 v pilot light in my amplifier, does anybody know what value resistor I need?
Answer: This is a 120 v light so you can connect it directly to a 120 v line. I’m using 1 as a monitor on my water pump connected to 120 v. Works great-no problems. -

Can I connect this directly to the screw terminals on a 3 way switch? If so, which terminals? Ground and one traveler?
Answer: A ground wire should not carry current, so you should connect to the white neutral instead (which is probably in the electrical box, but not wired directly to the switch). -

Answer: I'm not an electrician, but it should work fine. I have it in a 120V system. works great. Looks like it might be a 16 gauge wire, but I'm only going on memory it's been a while since I have seen the actual wiring. -

Answer: This is a very low amperage light. You need to wire it in parallel with the load on your 120 volt circuit.Master Electrician -

Answer: Depends on use. Diodes have a long life as a rule.
