- PurAmino is a hypoallergenic, iron fortified, amino acid based formula used for infants and toddlers with severe cow's milk protein allergies, and other food allergies. From the makers of Enfamil which is the #1 pediatrician recommend brand, and Nutrimgein the #1 Hypoallergenic brand trusted by pediatricians. * It is suitable for conditions such as protein maldigestion, malabsorption/chronic diarrhea, short bowel syndrome, eosinophilic esophagitis, and other conditions that may require an elemental diet. PurAmino is suitable for oral and tube feeding. It contains omega 3 DHA and ARA, important fatty acid nutrients that provide brain support and eye development. PurAmino provides a sole source of nutrition for infants up to age 6 months and provides a major source of nutrition for toddlers up to 24 months of age, when indicated. In cases of severe and multiple food allergies or intolerances, PurAmino can be continued as a milk substitute in the diet of children.
