The RV Designer S247 is a SPST rocker switch that illuminates when turned on. It has three connecting pins for load output, positive power input, and ground for the light to come on. It requires small flat slide on type connectors and fits into a 9/16” x 1-1/8” hole in the panel. The switch is designed for 12-volt DC electrical applications only and is not suitable for use with 125-volt AC power. The light is illuminated but it is unclear if it is an LED or not. The top terminal goes to both the lamp and the circuit being controlled. If the hot side of the circuit is connected to the top terminal, the red rocker will always be lit whether the circuit is on or off. If the hot side of the circuit is connected to the middle terminal, the light will be off when the circuit is off and on when the circuit is on. Customers have used this switch to replace the existing ones that had gone bad in their RV, control panels, and some smaller compact riding mowers like Cub Cadets. They found it easy to install and connect. However, one buyer received the wrong model for their Jayco RV and another buyer found it did not fit their panel despite being of good quality.
