Answer: As long as the guitar is routed for a standard humbucker size, this will fit. -

Answer: It can be put in either position (technically). I put mine in the bridge position on a Strat... couldn't be happier with it! It's not as high output as a JB, for instance, but thing whales, is sweet, and I get great tones from it... -
