It is a completely submersible, seal-less centrifugal magnetically driven pump, which means it has no shaft seal that can cause leaks or malfunctions. The motor and motor cooling system are epoxy encapsulated, providing complete moisture protection and allowing the pump to run in open air or even fully submerged in liquid. With its run-dry capability, the SEAFLO SFCPA1-G500-01 is designed to automatically shut off if it detects that there is no water available. This ensures the longevity of the pump and prevents any damage from occurring.
The pump operates on 115V AC power and is ignition protected for safe and reliable operation. This pump generates a maximum flow of 8.5 gallons per minute, making it suitable for marine AC systems up to 24,000 BTU. It can handle a maximum head of 19 feet at 8.2 PSI, providing excellent performance in circulating water throughout your AC system. The inlet connection is a ¾” female pipe thread (FPT), and the outlet is a ½” male pipe thread (MPT), allowing for easy installation.
