Please note that this tank is not suitable for fresh or drinking water use. It is designed specifically for waste/gray water use only. This tank comes in a sleek black color, adding a touch of style to your RV or camper.
Please be aware that this tank does not come with a retail box or installation instructions. To ensure proper installation and to prevent product damage and personal injury, we highly recommend having a certified technician install all parts. Before use, it is important to prepare the tank by cleaning it to remove any debris, scuffs, or markings from the manufacturing process.
The WT-2865 3 Black Water RV Waste Holding Tank features a 3" ABS female pipe outlet that cannot be moved. It is crucial to not over-tighten fittings, as it may cause damage. The dump valve should not be directly hooked to the 3" ABS fitting.
Instead, run PVC or ABS piping from the outlet and add the dump valve to the piping. The inlet and vent installation is left to the end user's discretion. Class A Customs Black Water Tanks only come with the outlet, so you can determine where the inlet and vent need to be placed and install them accordingly.
Please note that hardware is not included. To ensure proper functioning, the tank must be vented to allow air in and out when in use. It is important to avoid pressurizing the tank.
Over-tightening fittings may also cause damage, so exercise caution during installation. When mounting and bracing the tank, make sure it is securely fastened to prevent movement. It is also crucial not to place any weight on the tank, as it is designed specifically for waste storage.
