Coolerage Editorial Review
The Purple Replacement Shell Kit for Xbox Series XS Controller has garnered a positive reception among customers, who commend both its aesthetic appeal and overall build quality. Many users have praised the vibrant color and seamless fit of the new shell, describing their controllers as having transformed into custom builds at an affordable price. The installation process is reported to be straightforward for those familiar with electronic assembly, though some users noted that it might require patience due to the number of screws involved. The kit includes a decent quality toolset, although the non-magnetic screwdriver has been pointed out as a minor inconvenience, leading some users to resort to their own tools for ease of use. Despite a few hiccups, such as some users experiencing looseness with the top screw holders, overall feedback emphasizes a satisfactory fit and function, with many customers expressing a willingness to purchase again. In summary, this replacement shell kit effectively enhances the appeal of Xbox controllers, providing a custom look without the hefty price tag, with clear instructions for a manageable DIY installation. **
