Lippert Components Furniture Parts & Hardware Editorial Review
The Lippert 1346271 Flex Guard Single Kit is a direct replacement part designed to hold electrical wiring for the slides of RVs, specifically catering to models like the Keystone trailer. Customer feedback generally highlights the ease of installation and compatibility with existing setups, making it a convenient solution for those experiencing issues with their original wiring support systems. However, many users express their disappointment in the design, noting that the same structural flaws that caused the original part to fail are present in this replacement. As one customer put it, it's a poorly designed element of most new trailers, leading to a cautious outlook on its longevity. Users suggest the necessity for vigilance while operating the slide to avoid snagging, which can lead to further damage. Nevertheless, the product works as intended, and some users appreciate the aesthetics it brings to their modified installations, making it functional and visually pleasing. Overall, while the Lippert Flex Guard Kit addresses immediate replacement needs, it raises questions about the durability and effectiveness of its design. Customers appreciate having a readily available replacement but hope for design improvements in future iterations. **
