The AQUANEAT 2pcs Submersible Water Pump is a great option for those in need of a small water pump for their aquarium, outdoor water fountain, hydroponics or pond. This pump is relatively quiet and has suction cup feet to help keep it in place, dampen vibrations and absorb noise. It is easy to regulate the flow of the pump with an open/close cover in the front of the pump. However, it is important to note that while the pump works well for smaller fountains and aquariums, it may not be powerful enough for larger systems. Some customers have also reported that the pump has a low flow rate and may not always push water horizontally. In terms of its dimensions, the large pump can fit 5/16"or 1/2"ID tubing, while the medium or small pump can fit a 1/4" ID tubing. One customer noted that a small pump did not come with two fittings. Customers have reported mixed experiences with the longevity of the pump, with some reporting that it lasted about six months and others reporting that it stopped working after just over two months. There does not appear to be an auto shutoff feature.
