- Matrixyl 3000 is a powerful combo of two peptides: palmitoyl oligopeptide and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7. These two peptides have an incredible synergy that renders them a great skin care duo against the early signs of aging. Palmitoyl oligopeptide consists of three amino acids connected to palmitic acid (a fatty acid that ensures the peptides can penetrate the skin). This compound can help fill in fine lines which leads to a smoother, plumped skin. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 consists of four amino acids connected to palmitic acid. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 has shown that it can reduce the production of interleukin-6 (IL-6), a molecule that triggers inflammation – our skin’s greatest enemy that sets a chain of reactions that disturb its structure. Argireline is a synthetic peptide that comes with a number of different wrinkle-fighting and anti-aging effects. What the argireline collagen peptides serum does is subtly regulating muscle movements that cause wrinkle formation. It also promotes collagen production which, in turn, fights fine lines and improves the moisture levels in the skin, resulting in anti-aging effects.
