The build itself was fun but it was noted that if you miss a step or page in the book, it can significantly throw off the final product. The set is described as looking better in hand than online and is well designed with the back of the helmet being the only complaint noted. While the sticker sheet was cut off-center in one copy, it was noted to be a minor problem and not noticeable to everyone. It was also suggested that LEGO should branch out and start doing lightsaber model sets. Unfortunately, some customers experienced issues with delivery, with one noting that the present was ruined due to non-discreet packaging, and another stating that the product arrived in poor condition and was unacceptable to gift.
