The Medium Creative Brick Box is about the same size as an adult shoebox and comes with 484 pieces, while the Large Creative Brick Box is twice as tall and includes 790 pieces. Note that these sets come with extra space, allowing for the addition of a few hundred bricks from a builder's collection.
