The Alfa AWUS1900 is a highly recommended and well-priced WiFi adapter suitable for a range of wireless purposes. It is extremely high gain, with users reporting seeing up to 125 Wi-Fi networks with a minimum of 35-50 (compared to a maximum of 5 with other adapters). The adapter is robustly built and designed, and feels "cool & hard(possitivly har- not uncomfortable. absolutely not.) to the touch." Although it can be tricky to get working with some operating systems, it works well with Windows 10 and has been shown to work in monitor mode with Kali Linux and support packet injection. Overall, it is suited to both everyday users and pen-testers seeking to monitor and test WiFi networks.
