Johnson Controls A99BB-25C Temperature Sensor, PVC Cable
The Johnson Controls A99BB-200C Temperature Sensor is a thermistor probe designed for temperature sensing applications. It has a nominal diameter of 0.25" and is equipped with a 6.5 ft cable. One customer used a larger PVC pipe to feed the sensor through a wall, then sealed it with expanding foam insulation. Another customer used a food-grade sheath to make it waterproof and measure the temperature of wine inside a bottle for a wine chiller. Just be careful because the probe end cannot fit in a 1/4" ID. Overall, customers seem pretty happy with this temperature sensor. It seems to work well for a variety of applications, though some customers did have questions about its compatibility with certain setups. If you're in need of an accurate and reliable temperature sensor, the Johnson Controls A99BB-200C seems like a solid choice.
