Answer: The tone switch offers a choice between dark and bright tones, while the attack switch allows you to choose between slow and fast response times. -

Answer: Yes, the pedal allows you to blend in your original signal, giving you the option to remove the over-compression effect at the front. -

Answer: Yes. You can use it. -

How is the noise floor?
Answer: It's the first pedal in my chain and used that way I have no noise issue either active or bypassed. Presently I have the pedal after my Wampler compression pedal and before my ambient pedals. I've encountered no noise issues. I also used SP Compressor. It was not so bad with noise. Check the signal feeding into the compressor. If the signal has some noise, compressor will increase it along with the actual note. But comparatively Ego Compressor seems to be better at handling noise. -
Question:
Is this v1 or v2?
Answer: The larger pedal with 5 knobs is V1. V2 has 3 and a toggle for 2 knobs. It’s essentially the same only with a smaller footprint and less customization options but not many. -
Question:
Would this work with a Mustang 1 or Champion 40 and does it come with a cable?
Answer: Yes, it will work with a Mustang 1,2,3, or 2000. It will also work with a Champion 40,50, or 1000 (... it will work with any amp). No, it does not come with a cable. -
Question:
Does it come with the power supply plug?
Answer: Yes, if you mean a power supply jack. It's on the back of the unit. From the Wampler site: Battery connection and 9v power jack (barrel plug like Boss). -
Question:
How does work the attack knob?
Answer: Attack. This controls what the compressor does to your input signal. If you want to hear the hard pluck of your pick strokes, turn the Attack knob up. Sustain or Release.
