iCreatin Powerline Network Adapters Editorial Review
The Gigabit POE Injector is a device that enables the user to conveniently get power and signal to/from the camera to the router. However, some users experienced issues with the device. One user mentioned that it shorts out 48v IP cameras and the device did not establish a link with the upstream switch. Another user was not able to get gigabit without packet loss with using an Unifi u6lite with the POE injector. The device appears to have been repurposed, with one track on the PCB scratched off by a screwdriver and a new wire soldered to bypass a resistor on the board. Due to these issues, the user decided to throw the device away.
