Answer: The fan (with the included downrod) is 15.5” long from the ceiling to its lowest point. On a 8’ ceiling, you would have less than a 7’ clearance underneath the fan. Depending on the size of the room and what the room is used for, it may or may not work. It is a larger looking fan and would be best suited in a larger room. -

Can this fan be installed on an angled ceiling?
Answer: Will not hang on a vaulted ceilings with angles greater than 18°, which is not a typical vaulted ceiling angel. A typical vaulted ceiling is between 30° and 45° -

Can you use the leviton dw4sf smart wi-fi fan speed controller wall switch with this fan?
Answer: Not sure. We have 3 outdoor and three indoor of these fans and love them. The fans come with each of their own remotes, however that was a problem at first for us because they were all programmed the same. It made it hard to work one at a time. -

What is the standard downrod size that comes in the box with the fan?
